Tempo Chorus is more than just a choir. It's a community of 70+ queer voices building something special together. Whether you're a singer looking for your vocal home or someone who wants to contribute behind the scenes, there's a place for you here.

For Singers

We hold auditions twice a year: early September for our Fall term (September to December) and early January for our Winter/Spring term (January to June). Auditions aren't about being perfect. They're about finding the right vocal fit and making sure you're comfortable in the tenor, baritone, or bass range.

Here's what membership looks like: we rehearse every Wednesday evening from 7:00 to 9:30pm at The 519 Community Centre. Membership fees are $150 per term, and financial assistance is always available because we believe cost should never be a barrier to participation. You don't need professional training or to know how to read music, just a love of singing and a willingness to show up, learn, and be part of something bigger.

If you can hold a harmony part, commit to weekly rehearsals, and want to be surrounded by an incredibly supportive queer community, you'll fit right in.

For Volunteers

Not a singer but still want to be part of Tempo?

We're always looking for volunteers to help with things like social media, event coordination, graphic design, photography, and more. Your skills and time help keep Tempo running.
