TEMPO DELIVERS SIXTY HEROES THIS HOLIDAYS

They say not all heroes wear capes. Some wear concert blacks and harmonize their way into your heart.

This past weekend, Tempo Chorus brought Naughty & Nice to a sold-out Hugh's Room Live, and if the standing ovations, tears (the happy kind), and absolutely electric energy in the room were any indication, we delivered exactly what the holidays needed.

Two Nights, Two Sold-Out Shows

Both December 9th and 10th saw packed houses, with audience members arriving early to snag the best seats and staying late to chat with our members. From the moment the lights went down to the final note of our encore, the room was buzzing with the kind of joy that only live music can create.

"I've been to a lot of holiday concerts, and this was hands down the most fun I've ever had," said Jamie, an audience member who attended the Monday show. "The energy was incredible. You could feel how much they loved being up there, and it was contagious."

The Setlist That Delivered

We weren't kidding when we promised a mix of naughty and nice. The evening opened with high-energy pop arrangements that had the audience clapping along from the jump, transitioned into heartfelt holiday classics that brought the nostalgia, and threw in a few cheeky surprises that had people laughing and cheering in equal measure.

One standout moment? Our rendition of beloved queer anthem, Go West, that turned the entire venue into one big singalong. You had to be there, but trust us, it was magical.

"I brought my partner who's never been to a live choir concert before," shared Alex, a Tuesday night attendee. "He was skeptical at first, but by the end, they were on their feet with everyone else. The harmonies were stunning, and the vibe was just so warm and inclusive. We're already planning to come back for the next show."

Community at the Heart

Beyond the music, what made Naughty & Nice so special was the community that showed up. Friends, family, longtime supporters, and first-time audience members all packed into Hugh's Room to celebrate the season together. The diversity in the room, the laughter between sets, and the genuine connection between performers and audience made it clear: this is what Tempo is all about.

Thank You, Toronto

To everyone who came out, sang along, laughed with us, and filled Hugh's Room with so much love: thank you. You made these two nights unforgettable. To our incredible members who brought their A-game (and some serious holiday spirit): you absolutely crushed it.

And to our presenting sponsor, Pop Music, we couldn't do this without you.

This holiday season needed heroes. We're honored you let us show up as 60 of them.

Missed Naughty & Nice? Don't worry. We'll be back with more performances in 2026.
